Secure, Scalable SAF

Born in the Forest.
Built in Canada.

sustaero-logo

SUSTAERO is developing the most secure and scalable SAF production network, converting wood waste into ASTM-certified SAF using SUSTAERO's proprietary Syngas Optimization for Aviation Renewables (SOAR™) process. SUSTAERO delivers supply confidence for offtakers with a financeable deployment model for investors.

Why Now

With the shortest, most secure, uninterruptible supply chains with built-in redundancy, SUSTAERO's SAF is not susceptible to the disruptions which have rocked our world. In addition to rising SAF requirements and punishing penalties for underuse, the industry is waking up to the inherent security of SAF, especially SAF made from Canada's abundant biomass, low-carbon power, and industrial infrastructure.

What Is SAF?

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is jet fuel. It is kerosene, the same molecule in conventional jet fuel (Jet-A/Jet-A1), only made from sustainable feedstocks. It is a low-carbon drop-in replacement for fossil fuels, already working in today’s aircraft and fuel systems.

Drop-in compatible

Used through existing aviation fuel infrastructure.

Icon of a paper airplane with lines behind it, representing speed or travel.

Lower lifecycle emissions

Materially reduces lifecycle GHG emissions versus conventional jet fuel.

Green icon of a certificate with a ribbon seal symbolizing certification and audit compliance.

Certified and auditable

Produced under recognized fuel specifications (ASTM D7566); sustainability attributes supported by documentation.

Scaling global adoption

Airlines, airports, and governments are increasing SAF commitments, though supply remains constrained.

What Sustaero Does

Produce SAF from sustainable cellulosic biomass (drop-in jet fuel).

Deploy standardized plants designed for replication across multiple Canadian sites.

Deliver supply confidence through long-term contracting and practical logistics to airport fuel facilities.

Why Sustaero?

Canada Advantage

Biomass availability, low-carbon electricity, and industrial infrastructure to scale SAF competitively.

How It Works

SOAR™ converts sustainable biomass into SAF through a proven syngas-to-liquids pathway, optimized for repeatable plant deployment.
